We are no longer taking applications for funding.
The TSFMLS has decided to take a different direction and instead of helping to fund Yorkies, one by one, we are changing our focus to research into finding the DNA marker for this and other terrible diseases afflicting Yorkshire Terriers.
We have decided to create an endowment fund in Terri's name as a legacy to all that she did for Yorkies.
This fund will be called the
Terri Shumsky Yorkshire Terrier Endowment Fund.
It will be a fund which will continue to grow in perpetuity and the proceeds will go to help finance research into the illnesses found in the Yorkshire Terrier breed.
